Job Description: Account Executive – West Coast
Location: Newport Beach, CA USA (Hybrid with regional travel)

Reports To: VP of Sales
Position Summary
Tec-Refresh, Inc. is seeking a high-performing Account Executive to own and grow our West Coast territory. This is a quota-carrying role for a proven sales professional who thrives on building relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and IT leaders, selling complex cybersecurity solutions, and closing six- and seven-figure deals.
You will represent Tec-Refresh’s Managed Security Services, Security Assessments, and strategic vendor offerings (Palo Alto Networks, Rubrik, Axonius, Semperis, etc.), working in close alignment with our engineering and partner ecosystem to deliver measurable outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive new customer acquisition and strategic account expansion across enterprise and SLED markets on the West Coast.
- Sell Tec-Refresh’s portfolio:
- Managed Security Services (MSSP)
- Security Assessments & Advisory
- Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Prisma, Cortex)
- Rubrik (Backup, DRaaS, Cyber Resilience)
- Axonius (Asset & SaaS Security Management)
- Semperis (Active Directory & Identity Security)
- Engage and influence executives (CIO, CISO, IT Director) and procurement teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Build territory account plans with clear pipeline generation, forecasting, and execution strategies. Cold calling and extensive networking activities are a must.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and vendor partners to craft proposals and win competitive opportunities.
- Deliver compelling presentations and lead solution workshops tailored to customer needs.
- Accurately manage pipeline and activity reporting within CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot).
- Stay ahead of industry trends in cybersecurity, AI governance, compliance (NIST, SOC 2), and risk management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, MSSP services, or enterprise IT solutions.
- Demonstrated success selling security assessments, managed services, and technologies from Palo Alto Networks, Rubrik, Axonius, and Semperis.
- Established relationships across the West Coast enterprise and SLED ecosystem preferred.
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent skills in prospecting, executive engagement, and closing complex multi-stakeholder deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Self-starter with territory management discipline and business acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
